VP of Sales role in NYC (SaaS/B2B/Enterprise)

Our client's platform is the global leader in overstock resale, and they are seeking a high performance sales person who has strong SaaS Enterprise sales experience to come in as VP of Sales.

As the VP of Sales you work with other client-facing teams, and meet with C-levels regularly regarding business and industry trends to make sure everything is on track. The KPIs are based on number of deals signed, quality of deals signed, GTV and revenue.

**This role has required travel**

• Learn and execute best practices for new sales opportunities while continually improving upon processes for current and future team members
• Own every part of the sales cycle from sourcing leads, outreach, driving contracts, creating tailored presentations, closing deals, representing the company at industry events and thinking creatively to grow relationships
• Strategize with team to identify and target key prospects
• Engage deals in executive sponsorship
• Oversee the team quota, and carry an individual quota for the purpose of leading by example and supporting the team close enterprise deals
• Communicating and collaborating cross functionally with our Client Operations, Client Success and Marketing teams
• Creative pitching that looks beyond price driven transformation
• Recruiting, developing, training and motivating a group of high achieving employees in both the US and UK
• Building relationships and engaging in consultative selling to drive buying decisions of VP and C-Level executives
• Maintain accurate account and pipeline data in Salesforce
• Develop and maintain robust pipeline of qualified prospects
• Communicate wins, challenges and strategies with executives and investors

• Knowledge with Salesforce to properly use this CRM system to enable reporting, pipeline management, and provide visibility
